The category of Ensemble Instrumental Music applies to music for classical art ensembles. Kent Gustavson works closely with the artists that commission works from him, working with each group to create a sound with them that works within their compatability and with their skill levels in mind. He has written music for large and small ensembles, of widely varying experience.
Kent Gustavson is an active classical art composer. He writes several commissions per year, and is nearing completion of his PhD in classical composition at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is open for commissions.
This music may or may not be virtuosic in character, depending upon the commission.
