The category of Electronic Music applies to music generated by and/or modified by computers or analog synthesizers. Electronic Music fits in the category of Classical Art Music. Aphasia is a true composition in the style of many contemporary electronic composers. Joseph and Idumea are amusing sound experiments that came from too much time alone in the computer music studio.
Kent Gustavson is an active classical art composer. He writes several commissions per year, and is nearing completion of his PhD in classical composition at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He is open for commissions.
This music is virtuosic in character, though no performers are necessary. All of these electronic compositions are for stereo speakers.
