• 8 Brand New Recordings of Kent Gustavson's music released under the Ninety and Nine Records label.
• Publisher Blooming Twig Books LLC meeting with marked success in the marketplace
• Many recording projects also underway, including the Gospel Hymnal Recording and a complete setting of the Psalms.
Fall 2005
• Recording project, "Troublin' Mind " underway with Jamey Haddad, Larry Campbell, Aruna Sairam, Steve Gorn, Micah Schonberg, Nicholas Walker, Alexandra Montano and others at One Soul Studios in New York City.
September 2004
Awarded Lilly Endowment for workshops in Longmont, CO (Sept. 11, 2004), and Minneapolis, MN (Apr. 2005).
July 2004
• Live in Vermont with Micah Schonberg released by One Soul Records in New York City.
April 2004
• Recording with ensemble, "Stolen Shack," was released by One Soul Records in New York City.
• "Stolen Shack" featured on NPR's All Songs Considered.
2003-2004
• “Cook” for violin, banjo and speaker, “Red Dirt Hymn” for solo classical guitar, "Providence" for solo string bass, "Professor Merrill Nelson and His Musical Hall Tree" for trombone and ensemble, and “Lunch” for solo guitar have recently been, or will be soon, premiered in New York.
February 2003
• Commissioned by Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Longmont, CO, to write a setting of the Eucharist, “Light into the World, Hope for a New Day.” Premiered in Colorado, February 9, 2003. Published by Owl Mountain Music in Fort Collins, Colorado.
April 2002
• A musical, “The Butter Battle” based on the Dr. Seuss books The Butter Battle Book and The Lorax was performed in April, 2002.
2001-present
• "Mountain Vespers" frequently used for worship at Holden Village, the retreat for thousands of Lutherans each year. Recent recording of the service for sale at the village.
